To grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

The Hudson Valley Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® was chartered in 1986 by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America to serve all medically eligible children who live in the eight New York Counties of Delaware, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester.

    Time: 8:30am-Noon

    Join the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Hudson Valley’s 5th Annual walk-a-thon on Saturday, October 2nd at Rye Playland and help make wishes come true! Walk for Wishes is a non-competitive 2.5 mile walk appropriate for any age and any fitness level.

    The fun-filled day includes a post-walk celebration you won’t want to miss! You can help raise funds to make wishes come true by registering to walk as an individual or form a team with your family, friends, and co-workers.

    Awards will be presented for the top fundraising individual, school, and non-school team.
